Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter\n\nLocation: Mobile / South East & East of England / HS2\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nOverview:\n\nUnify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established Construction Plant business. The role involves maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of construction plant equipment across the East and South East, with occasional visits to HS2 sites\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment\n\n * Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently\n\n * Examine machinery before dispatch and upon return to ensure readiness and safety\n\n * Set up and test plant attachments, ensuring compatibility and functionality\n\n * Conduct fluid monitoring, replenishment and regular lubricant.\n\n * Inspections and preparation of plant machinery for deployment and transfers\n\n * Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards\n\nWhat do I need?\n\n * Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance.\n\n * Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills\n\n * NVQ in plant mechanics or similar or CSCS card holder\n\n * Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks.\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence.\n\nBenefits-\n\n * Enhanced annual leave entitlement, increasing with length of service.\n\n * Participation in a workplace pension scheme\n\n * Employee referral bonus scheme\n\n * Access to an Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * Dedicated wellbeing initiatives and support services\n\n * Discounted gift card programme, providing savings of up to 15% across a wide range of leading high-street and online retailers\n\n * Annual employee engagement and satisfaction survey, helping to shape the workplace experience\n\n * Paid leave for employees undertaking recognised government-supported voluntary roles, such as military reservists and other approved public service commitments\n\n * Paid volunteering days to support community projects and the organisation’s chosen charitable partners\n\nHours-\n\nMonday - Friday, 42.5 hours per week with overtime available
